Privacy and cookies

What we collect
Only what you type into the form: name, email, phone, country, dates of stay, number of guests and message. For security we also record the IP address the request comes from, to block automated submissions.
Why we use it
- To answer your request for information or availability.
- To prepare a quote and manage any resulting booking.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use your data for newsletters or advertising and we do not pass it on to third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as needed to handle your request and, if no stay follows, no longer than 24 months. Data related to a booking is kept for the periods required by Italian tax and public safety law.
Who can see it
Villa staff and the technical providers who run the website and email, appointed as data processors. Your data stays within the European Union.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to its use or receive it in a portable format (Articles 15-22 GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
This website uses a single technical session cookie (JSESSIONID), needed to send the form securely; it is deleted when you close your browser. We use no profiling cookies or third-party analytics, and fonts and scripts are served from our own server, so no cookie banner is needed.
